My book is Twilight, by: Stephanie Mayer. Many of you have read this book I assume, and not all of you enjoyed it, but i did. This book is about a seventeen year old girl named Isabella "Bella" Swan, right away in the book she has to move out of Phoenix, Arizona to Forks, Washington. After arriving in Forks, Bella soon meets the youngest Cullen, Edward. Bella and Edward become very close, very quickly. You then find out that Edward is a vampire, and so is his whole family. From there comes a great, thrilling adventure, that will keep you non stop reading.
I have really enjoyed reading this book, like I said; it is very exciting, fun to read, and extremely hard to put down. What I have liked most about this book so far, is when Bella and Edward are together. The favorite part for me in the beginning is when Edward tells Bella he is a vampire. I liked this because he is showing her everything he can do, and telling her that he isn’t a hero, he’s the bad guy. I liked a lot of things already, and so far I have only talked about the beginning.
For the character choices I want to talk about Bella, because the whole story is between her and Edward, but more so Bella. Bella has already had to make some big decisions, just in the beginning. The thing about her is that she doesn’t listen to other people, or always do what makes sense. She follows her heart, or at least she does with Edward. First off she has to decide if she wants to visit her dad in Forks, or travel with her mom and step dad. Then after Edward saves her from a car crash, she chooses to learn more about him, and spend more time with him.
Like I said I have enjoyed this book, and so far I only wrote about the beginning.
You have a nice, conversationalist way of writing. It comes natural to you. Now, try keeping it more academic and focussed and don't "announce" what you're going to talk about. It's a more difficult way of writing, but you're definately ready.
