Memoir

I went to Illinos one time with my friend hanna! We were all set to go we had passes to get out of school, but we decided it would be more fun to sneak out the back door of the school. once we had packed and got food we were on our non-stop way to Illinois, but we did take a few stops. When we were almost to the Hotel we hit major traffic. I felt desperate, to get to the hotel. Also i felt sick, and tired. As if i maypuke, or pass out! finally we got to the hotel! We hung out with the baseball players, and that was tons of fun! We watched a lot of baseball, and they toook 3rd in the tournament! That was great! Still the best part for me was Hanging out with my best friend Hanna and my favorite people from the baseball team, Zoe and Caz (brother and sister), Dj and Deandra (also brother and sister), and Erik Jarosch! It was the best weekend of my life, and i will never forget it!

  1. Mrs. Clear,
Please keep in mind that i did write a better memoir, but it was to personal to share. I also didn't have as much time to re-write one.
    Thank you!

  2. Yes, Katie- I do remember! Be careful about using other people's last names on your blog- some people might not appreciate it. Also, be sure to use proper grammar- such as capital letters. Must remain academic.

Also- the goal was to insert some sensory images like Beah does in his memoir. You definately need more of that-- 5 class periods and 2 weeks of prep time...

  4. It was pretty good, but i think you should of mentioned that you were going there in the first place because of the baseball tournament

  5. You were going to a baseball tournament? That's why i was a little confused. That must have suck to be sick and almost pass out, but that was cool that you got to go to Illinois with your best friend.

  6. Like everyone else, I was a little confused about how you were going to a baseball tournament. But past that it was a pretty good story. I knew DJ a while ago. He's pretty cool.
